"Last year my buddy and I planned a trip to the west coast that would last 14 days and cover 6000 miles. We had a pretty aggressive schedule and we needed to keep moving to see everything we wanted to see. We left Wisconsin and rode to Wyoming to ride Chief Joseph trail, Bear Tooth highway, Glassier National park and then on to the coast. We cruised south on Pacific Coast Hwy 101 through Washington and Oregon and then turned east at Eureka. That's when I started having trouble with my brake light staying on. By the time I got to Susanville, the problem got worse and it was Saturday (7/28/2012). While stopping for gas, I did a search on the internet and found Chester's. I called ahead to see if you could help me out. James Paice told me he would do his best but needed me to get there as soon as possible. It was mid afternoon when we got there and you guys were obviously very busy. James got me in in a reasonable amount of time and got my bike repaired. Even though I wasn't from there, you guys took care of me like I would like my home town dealer to take care of me. We stayed on schedule and continued down the Loneliest Road (HWY 50), Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain National Park and then back to Wisconsin. Without your help, we may not have been able to realize the remainder of our trip. Your commitment of customer service to all of Harley's customers on the road is outstanding! Thanks again. "My wife and I are each shopping for a motorcycle. On Thursday I sent an e-mail to Reno HD. On Friday I was called by Dick and we talked for over an hour. We basically made a deal over the phone but my worry was our poor credit to qualify for financing towards the bikes. As it turns out, it is a non-issue as Dick "fought" for us and we are ordering 2 new 2013 Sportsters! Way to go Reno HD, we will be in for all of our accesories and leather gear. Ted and Laura "

"Just purchased my second bike from Reno HD. First was a Sportster and now a 2004 Fat Boy. Brett sold me the first bike so it was a natural to return to him and Scott for this purchase. Great deal for a super bike. Ordered some parts (of course) to be added by the time I return from vacation on 3/16. Bike was ready about 3 hours later. Awesome service on top of great deal. I guess you know where I'll be buying #3 bike in the future. Reno HD is THE place to go in Reno. Great when the sales staff all turn into friends as well."

"My wife and kids surprised me for my 46th birthday with a Harley. They tricked me into following them into your parking lot, and as I got out of the car they were all saying happy birthday. We tend to be pranksters in our house and I didn't buy it. I've wanted a Harley since I was 5, but raising kids for the past 23 years, with a couple in college, I figured the King of motorcycles was out of my reach. Then Sean came out and asked if I knew which bike I wanted...well that was easy, all of them. Sean was very patient with me as I went from bike to bike, I finally settled on a Road King. I walked into the dealership the following morning and all the staff greeted me by name. I felt like family. These guys are the best...I would HIGHLY recommend them."

"I just had my 2007 Road King Custom in the dealership for 5,000 mile service. When I returned to pick up my bike I was astonished how clean it was. It looked like a new bike delivery instead of a pick up at service. I have dealt with a lot of dealers in my 30 years of riding, but none as good as RENO HD. Thanks for all you do!! "Dewey started out riding a KLR 650 a few years ago, and he and I (his wife, Debbie) visited the Reno Harley-Davidson Dealership on our anniversary in February. That is when we met Scott Gundle. At that time, we were just looking for fun, but not intending to buy any time soon. Scott treated us with utmost respect and spent several hours showing us different bikes and encouraging us to sit on them to get the feel of what we really wanted. He explained the pros and cons of each model. Dewey was pretty sold on a fat boy at that time, but we liked the feel of the Heritage. At that time, we saw the Road King, but we didn't try it out then. I (Debbie) had not ridden a motorcycle in probably 30 years, and then just once as a passenger. Dewey was a little leary about what it would feel like to have a passenger, and he was afraid that I would be nervous. A month later we went to the Carson City dealership because of an ad for a used bike. We looked at, and Dewey test-drove a Road King and fell in love with it. They priced the bike out to us, but something didn't seem right; and because we had gotten such good service from Scott at Reno Harley-Davidson, we said we wanted to go back there before committing to buy. When we got back to Reno, the dealership was closed, but Scott was inside and saw us and let us in. When Dewey told him the price we'd been quoted, he shook his head in a puzzled way and asked if he could run our credit and crunch the numbers. He didn't try to hide anything from us, but he was able to get the same bike for about $100 per month less for the payments. We LOVE our 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King! Dewey rides it every day to work (except in snow & ice), and Debbie and our girls (age 14) love taking turns riding as passengers. I (Debbie) think the Harley is a great asset to our marriage and family. The feeling of freedom and carefree attitude we have when we ride is fantastic. We both feel that dealing with Reno Harley-Davidson is like dealing with a family. Every employee that we meet seems to go out of their way to accomodate us in every way that they can. We just attended an appreciation meeting, and I really like the mission statement of the company. "So, my wife's in the hospital for over two weeks and I'm driving (it's winter!) to RNO once, if not twice a day. I keep driving by RenoHD on my way. I've got a '79 BMW R100RT (Boxer) with 100K on it. OK, I'm a bagger and an old one at that. I work with a bunch of sailors in Fallon. They've bought ten Harleys over the winter from RenoHD. I'm curious; I've been online and decided that the '09 Road Glide with the new frame might be an option for retiring the O'lady. The bike, Sweetheart, not you! So, I take a break and stop in to look at a Road Glide. Scott Gundle walks out of his office and we start the talk. They've got a blue one in stock and can have it out of their warehouse tomorrow. As we're talking I get sidetracked looking at the new 2009 CVO Road Glide FLTRSE3. Screaming is an understatement. I leave expecting to come back and give the blue RG a good look. All the way home, the only bike I could remember looking at was the SE3. I start corresponding with Scott via email. I'm looking for the best deal on that blue RG. Economy as it is, I really expect that. I let it be known in the first email. I got one quick response and it is obvious RenoHD is serious about making a sale. So. "Let's talk about the Screaming Eagle." "Not a problem," Scott replies, "We've got a yellow and a silver is due in May." I get released at noon on Saturday (my birthday) to go buy the SE3. I'm walking in the door and they're hanging a SOLD sign on it! Once my blood pressure drops, Scott and I talk about the May arrival and Scott says he'll look for a swap with another dealership in the meantime. I was released to go buy a bike on my birthday, not in May! So, I decide to drive 30 miles down the road to the State Capital HD dealer to check out the in stock silver SE3 they have. A very friendly sales staff met me at the door; more than happy to "show me" the bike. We take it outside in the sunlight and honestly, sitting there in the Silver State Capital, it's obvious this should be the official state motorcycle. I love it! We go inside to talk price and that's where it got really strange. I guess they work with Politicians spending someone elses money. They identify that they're a market value dealer. "Yea, OK. Then, here's what your competition is ready to sell me. Call them if you want, but make it worthy of my 30 minute drive to the country." The response was we've got it in stock, they don't. Wow, market value just went up. I was in awe; they wanted well over 10% more!? I quickly drove back to RenoHD and said I'd like to make a deposit on that May delivery. And, I'm told they've already started the search for a dealer swap, but the May's mine if nothing else. Scott calls me three days later and say's he's got two swap opportunities available: one in SoCal and the other in Idaho. Gene leaves for Idaho Wednesday morning with the swap and returns to RenoHD early Thursday afternoon. I rode my SE RG home on Friday, the first day of Spring! What a sweet ride! As I'm riding away, KOZZ's playing "Wild Thing"... Finally, when I ride up and park it front of the house, the wife says, "Oh, that a nice motorcycle. I thought it'd be loud." RenoHD ROCKS! RX "

"A great big thank you to the guys in the service dept. I broke down on I80 250 miles east from Reno HD. By the time the I returned being towed in it was almost 8pm. The service manager and a few guys were just about to leave for the night. They graciously took my trike in and got my info and said they would do eveything they could to get me back on the road. They did, by 5pm the next evening they called to let me know my 2008 Roadglide trike ready to pick up. I am very greatful to the service dept for the outstanding work they did for me to get me on my way back to South Carolina. I know service dept is very busy with your regular customers with service and repairs, But I would like to say that Reno HD has a 5 star service Dept. "Last night my wife pulled into the driveway with my forty fifth birthday gift strapped into the bed of our truck. A complete surprise, I knew nothing about! The bike is a beautiful 2007 screamin eagle springer. All she has talked about since she got home here in Elko is how easy and fun it was to deal with Reno Harley Davidson. Bless her heart she knows nothing about Harley Davidson's or why this is my dream bike. The staff at Reno HD patiently guided her to the right bike and even worked a dealer trade to get the correct color. Keeping this a surprise involved working after hours and even delivering the bike to my wife in Winnemucca. She chose to buy this rare and wonderfull machine at Reno HD. " My husband recently purchased a Road King Classic from Reno Harley-Davidson, the experiance was so great that we have made Reno Harley-Davidson our personal dealership. We went to Reno Harley-Davidson to buy a helmet for my husband. As we walked into the dealership, I noticed the bike I had been looking for. A dyna Low-rider, with the exact paint color I wanted. We met with Dan DePetro. Dan did an excellent job with my new purchase of the Low Rider. This was my first motorcycle purchase, and Dan was a great help. He even pushed the bike outside from the show-room so I could see the paint and sit on the bike, to make sure it was what I wanted. I can not say enough about how the service department and Dave the custom guy, made everything happen with accesories. Even with a very busy day at the dealership The owners Marci and John came by to say Hi and check out the new bike. Again I am very pleased with the staff and purchase at Reno-Harley Davidson. My wife Julie and I went to Reno Harley to meet with Lewis Olvera who I dealt with during a purchase of a city owned Police Motorcycle. Lewis was outstanding to work with, showing us all the models we wanted to look at, and never acting as if he was in a hurry, and the financing and insurance set up was very fast. The service departement took my 17 year old son on a tour of the shop and even let him sit on a Chopper. He will never forget that experiance.
