We’ve moved! On January 6, 2009, we moved into our new building, directly across the street from our old building. The new address is 2315 Market Street, Reno, NV 89502. We all love it! There are now 75 motorcycles on the showroom floor versus 30 in our old facility. Also, plenty of room for a lot more clothing and parts and accessories.

John and Marci celebrated Reno Harley-Davidson/Buell’s 5th anniversary on January 6, 2009. “We’d like to thank all of you for your business and for letting us serve you over the last 5 years.” We are proud of our new location and also proud our staff here at Reno Harley-Davidson/Buell. We feel they’re the finest near and far.

A little background on John and Marci; they moved to Reno 5 years ago from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where they worked for Harley-Davidson’s corporate headquarters. John worked in the Sales Department for 25 years and Marci worked in the Human Resources, Legal and the Marketing Department for 23 years. “We love the product; it’s in our blood! We can’t imagine anything else!” So they were given the opportunity to buy Harley-Davidson of Reno (now called Reno Harley-Davidson/Buell) and never looked back. It’s not only our business, it’s our lifestyle. John rides a 2009 Ultra Glide and Marci rides a ’09 Softail Deluxe. They have ridden all over the world.

Since the Crowell’s moved to Reno, they’ve always given back to the community through a couple of charitable efforts. Klothes 2 Kids is one of their endeavors which help teens in need of clothing in the Washoe County School District. With the money raised, they purchase gift cards to Ross Stores, Inc. The gift cards are given to the Counselors of High Schools in the District, and they determine those teens in need of new clothes. They are given a $75 gift card to go to Ross and buy what they need. Another charitable effort is their “Ride for Justice”, benefiting victims of sexual violence. Reno Harley-Davidson/Buell also helps other important local charities by donating to their cause.

A new division of Reno Harley-Davidson/Buell opened in December, 2008, called Big House Customs. This new service facility is equipped with a brand new Dynojet 250 IX state-of-the-art dynamometer. This new diagnostic machine is the ONLY one in Nevada which will accommodate three wheeled motorcycles known as “trikes”. This facility features four Master Technicians with combined experience of over 70 years and is devoted to motorcycle performance enhancement and custom motorcycle builds. The Crowell’s commitment to exceptional customer service is as important as it’s ever been. “We work hard every day to make the appropriate changes to shorten wait times.”

The Crowell’s have two beautiful daughters, Danielle 20 and Lauren 18. They are both students at Arizona State University. Danielle is a Sophomore and Lauren, a Freshman. They also have a Golden Retriever puppy, Macy. She 1-1/2 years old and a total handful! John and Marci also enjoy golf, tennis, travel, skiing and, of course, motorcycle riding.
